Interbat was established in 1948 by the late Mr. Djoko Sukamto as Indonesian sole distributor for European companies, like Crinos, Harmo Pharma and Zambon, and since 1959, Interbat obtained its production permit and immediately began its own production.When the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Indonesia started regulating Good Manufacture Practices standard in 1971, Interbat immediately got the recognition for being conformed all its facility according to the standard.
